Connecting Our Heritage
Did you know that a Chamber committee that includes representatives from

Chamber, the City, St Mary's, Mt. Angel Historical Society and the Abbey has

been working on a project called the Mt Angel Heritage Trail?  This trail has

been in the planning stages for a few years now and thanks to a grant from

the Oregon Community Foundation, the project is moving forward!

The trail connects parts of Mt Angel, taking visitors on a trip through our heritage.

Stops include Benedictine Sisters, Glockenspiel, Saalfeld House, Train Depot, Wilco,

St Mary's, and the Abbey among others.  Each spot along the trail will have a marker talking about the history of that area.  This is a great project that will bring awareness of our rich history as well as bring new people to town.

For more information, visit Mt. Angel Historical Society's Facebook page or website.
